How Pody Works
A complete walkthrough of producing a podcast through Pody — from signup to first published episode.
Step 1 — Sign up (5 minutes)
Visit pody.io, click "Get started." Create an account with email or Google. Choose Free or paid plan.
Step 2 — Create a podcast profile (10 minutes)
Add your podcast: name, description, cover art (1400×1400+), language, category. We auto-generate the RSS feed and unique podcast page at pody.io/podcast/{slug}.
Step 3 — Plan an episode (15 minutes)
Use the Kanban board: drag a card from "Idea" to "Draft." Add title, talking points, guest. If you need a guest, browse the Guest Pool.
Step 4 — Book a studio (5 minutes)
Browse studios in your city. Filter by audio/video, capacity, equipment. Pick a time slot. Pay through Pody (or use credits). You receive a calendar invite + studio address.
Step 5 — Record (~90 minutes)
Show up at the studio. Studio team handles all technical setup. Just talk. Studio uploads raw recording to Pody automatically.
Step 6 — Order editing (1 minute)
From the content page, choose AI, Basic, or Premium editing. Editor claims the job within 4 hours.
Step 7 — Review (24 hours after delivery)

Step 8 — Publish (1 click)
Click "Publish." Episode is auto-distributed to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and 12+ directories. Reels are auto-generated for social.
Step 9 — Promote (ongoing)
Use generated reels for social posts. Track analytics. Schedule next episode.
Total time: 2-3 hours of your time per episode
The rest happens automatically (recording transfer, editor work, distribution). Compare to 8-12 hours per episode without Pody.
